Help Desk Opportunity - Golden Valley
Detailed Description of Job Responsibilities (Tasks & Deliverables):
Provide client support for Technical Center R&D community as well as team support working with other Divisional DSAs.
Client/Team support includes:
- Providing support for non-standard technologies required by R&D professionals
- Managing implementation of Desktop technology initiatives required by the R&D community
- Troubleshooting incidents for both computer hardware and software issues
- Performing Moves/Adds/Change tasks
- Working on project initiatives
- Resolving network problems
- Patching PCs to effect the computing environment standards
Mandatory Experience:
- Possess technical awareness and picks up technical concepts quickly.
- Previous successful experience providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with PC hardware/software including MS Office, Windows XP.
- Use of Remedy problem management tool
- Experience with re-imaging and configuration of computers
- Software installation experience with client standards including MS Office, Windows XP.
- The ability to prioritize work, yet be flexible enough to change priorities as the business needs dictate.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Strong Customer Service skills.
