Solutions Architect - Contract to Hire Western Suburbs!
Complete Description
Develops and communicates application architectural blueprints, and supports implementation ensuring integration with other technologies, data and applications.
- Provides services for a specific business client or corporate function.
- Serves as application portfolio architectural advisor to IT management
Responsibilities
- Acts as highest level technical expert for software product development and or purchase, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Gathers information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input/output requirements to design application systems to perform well logically and physically.
- Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time and compatibility with hardware and other programs.
- Researches and evaluates software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms.
- Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management.
- Establishes auditing procedures to ensure continues integrity.
- Assist in pros-implementation continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality.
- Serves as team leader in the integration of solutions, constructing application, developing new business opportunities and bulging relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and communications skills.
- Motivated, passionate technologist.
- Demonstrated architectural leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technology teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple, concurrent initiatives
- Ability to evangelize and “sell” technology architecture & solutions
- Bachelor Degree (Required)
- Application design and project management (Required 2 Years)
- Java / J2EE Experience (Required)
- BEA WLS, WLP, ALSB (Required)
- Web Services Technologies (Desired)
- Security & Regulatory knowledge (i.e. PCI, etc.) (Desired)
- SDLC Methodology: RUP (Desired)
