Contact Center Engineer

Contract to Hire

The position is responsible for technology engineering and support of internal and outsourced technology associated with our client’s contact centers. You will engineer, design, deploy and support contact center technology to perform intelligent call routing, voice recognition, reporting and other related functions.  This person will work closely with contact center management, application development personnel and outsourced call center vendors to understand business requirements, drive call center strategy and develop solutions to meet business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consult with business users to get specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned requests.
  • Interfacing with various vendors – Cisco, AT&T and others.
  • Write detailed description of user needs, system design, program functions, and steps required to modify network and voice systems.
  • Review specifications with business user to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Design, implement and support ICM and CRS/IVR scripting solutions to meet call center requirements.
  • Work with business users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure that product meets customer requirements and expectations.
  • Train end users and assist technical support staff on use of application systems software as needed. Assist less experienced staff in user specifications, coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Maintain regular written communication on project status with Project Manager and IS management.
  • Troubleshoot production problems within assigned software applications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Excellent Interpersonal / Teamwork Skills.
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience with the implementation of voice technologies.
  • Thorough background with VoIP and Contact Center voice technology. Specific experience with Cisco Networking and Cisco IPCC preferred but not required.
  • Experience with AT&T advanced features.
  • Experience with voice recognition technologies.
  • Experience with IPCC scripting technologies and IVR development.
  • Must be self-starter and be able to deliver results in a high-energy/high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer focus and desire to assist end users.

Quality Assurance Lead

6 Month Contract to Hire

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Lead Analyst is responsible for the definition, management and execution of test strategies.  They will work closely with product management, project management and development to ensure a quality product gets released to market.  The product under test is a next generation automated test system.  Most of the actual testing will be manual but test automation experience is required. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance Analyst

Full Time

The QA Analyst, working in close conjunction with the business owner, business user, Data Integration, Quality and Release, and Data Delivery team members, the focus of the function is to perform the necessary quality assurance testing to clearly verify the functionality of the product against use cases and traceability matrices following established processes, procedures, and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the development, documentation, of testing process and procedures for BI based capabilities;
  • Understand the test cases and scenarios designed to demonstrate full functionality and compliance to business requirements and data quality standards;
  • Develops, in conjunction with the business and IT, function-based test plans;
  • Identifies issues and possible root causes for issues and assists in their resolution;
  • Tests using standard process and procedures, all the required solution components against a documented set of specifications;
  • Develops, in conjunction with the business, test cases and scenarios;
  • Documents testing results, log results and issues, follow-up on issue resolution processes, and perform regression testing to re-verify the product.

Quality Assurance Lead

Full Time

The QA Lead, working in close conjunction with the business owner, business user, Data Integration, Quality and Release, Data Delivery team members, and the Process Analyst, is responsible for overseeing and providing direction to QA (Quality Assurance) testers.  The QA Lead insures that the tasks performed as part of the quality assurance testing clearly verifies the functionality of the product against use cases and traceability matrices following established processes, procedures, and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, in collaboration with IM and business associates, system test plans that are encompassing, resource efficient, and meet all the functional and operational requirements ;
  • Oversees the test team in conducting regression, integration, and end-to-end test cycles required to confirm all data validations, business rules, requirement matrices, control and balance processes, suspense recycle functionality as well as reporting accuracy;
  • Develop, in conjunction with the Process Analyst, thorough unit testing and approval processes too maximize regression, integration, and end-to-end testing processes;
  • Coordinate with the business users in establishing a UAT (User Acceptance Test) plan that verifies all functionality, data accuracy/quality,  and performance requirements to achieve business sign off;
  • Develop, in collaboration with Quality & Release management, release strategies, plans, and deliverables;
  • First level responder for UAT issue resolution thru the coordinating of resources from within IT to resolve and regression test the solutions;
  • Regularly provides concise and informative communication on the overall status of integration and end-to-end testing to both IM and the business units ;
  • Provide guidance, direction and support  to the test team in the process of testing and achieving desired results in line with project timelines;
  • Reviews and approves, in conjunction with the Process Analyst, the system and user acceptance test processes and deliverables.

Production Test Engineer

Full Time

Our client, a leading provider of embedded product solutions, is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a Production Test Engineer position in the Minneapolis office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with design engineering and contract manufacturing team members to create manufacturing functional test solutions for 32-bit embedded microprocessor products.
  • Specify and design functional test fixtures suitable for use in an automated manufacturing test environment.
  • Develop software to automate the testing of products in the manufacturing test environment.
  • Create documentation detailing the test fixture design and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Work with the contract manufacturer to resolve product failure symptoms that arise at the functional test phase of production.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline is required.
  • 2 to 5+ years experience developing test platforms for electronic assemblies.
  • Experience developing automated, PC driven, test platforms
  • Experience automating test platforms using Test Bench or LabVIEW.

Cognos Developer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of expertise with Cognos reports software and building enterprise strategic planning reports. 
  • Experience with ETL processes, data cleansing, data modeling, business analysis, OLAP cube creation, ad-hoc reporting and report building. 
  • Experience with installing, configuring, administering and maintaining Cognos server in Development, Test & Quality Assurance and Production environments.

Embedded Developer

Contract

We have a contract opportunity for an experience embedded code developer.  Although experience with embedded code continuation and/or test is appreciated, it is not what is needed in this position.  It is essential that you have development experience in a small team setting where you were responsible for all tasks from initial design from a requirements document to final test and integration.  Being part of a development team where you were directly responsible for only part of the process is not what is needed here.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong experience with embedded code (firmware) development and the development process.
  • Strong experience with RTOS environments such as QNX or TI's.
  • Experience compiling code using C.
  • Familiarity with embedded microprocessor peripherals
  • Experience in a small group, full life cycle development environment.
  • Be able to read a schematic to some degree and operate simple electronic test equipment such as an oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.

Voice Engineer

Contract to Hire

You will work on a team that is responsible for technology, engineering and support of the LAN/WAN and internal voice technologies and services used to support our client’s operations. Network and voice technologies include, but are not limited to Cisco switches, routers, voice gateways, phone system, voicemail conferencing and phones. This communication environment is predominantly supported by Cisco technologies.  This person will work closely with business personnel and other areas of Information Technology to ensure system availability and end-user support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interfacing with various communication vendors – Cisco, AT&T and others, managing regularly scheduled meetings, orders and escalation.
  • Project Management and support of data and voice circuits
  • Install and support various LAN/WAN technologies to support a growing enterprise over multiple major sites and outsource vendors.

Software Test Engineer

Full Time

This person will be responsible for leading and managing the Verification and Validation Test Team, consisting of 20 - 30 software test engineers and technicians spanning local and remote engineering centers. This group of engineers will be responsible for testing all products developed by the Division, including Device Manager, Handhelds and Web Portal environments..
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage V&V test activities  
  • All products to be released meet the quality standards of the organization.
  • Test projects are executed within the budget and schedule constraints of the project.
  • Manage up to 30 employees globally, including multiple overseas managers and up to 10 US employees. Provide personnel / administrative supervision for the engineers and technicians in the US.
  • Provide process management / leadership.
  • Lead / participate in the definition, maintenance, and improvement of product development processes.
  • Promote and ensure conformance to the quality system and all applicable product development processes and practices.
  • Participate in compliance audits as required (ISO, customers, etc.).
  • Manage the definition, maintenance, and improvement of test processes and practices in the test group. This includes overseeing the activities of Process Improvement Teams (PIT) in the US and overseas.
  • Provide input to product direction for the products being developed by the AO-PAM organization.

Customer Quality Engineer

Manage, facilitate, and address all customer concerns relating to process control, in-process and finished goods quality and Quality Assurance Systems. Represent the customer in deploying their detailed quality requirements within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the quality interface with the customer.

Visual Basic .Net Developer

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced technical developer. This developer will join the team as they continue to build a new system for our client.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Our client is replacing two existing systems (one VB6 and one PowerBuilder) and has been architected as a VB.NET 2.0 winform/smart client application, leveraging our SAP PLM platform.
  • This position is targeted as .NET support (troubleshooting and correcting bugs reported from our users/analysts) and .NET development (phase 1 enhancements and phase 2 core features).
  • Developers should have recent/relevant experience developing VB.NET 2.0 winform applications, strong background with XML and web services, be able to read technical specifications and develop/follow existing guidelines/standards of development for the client.
  • Developers should also have strong communication skills and the ability to work with others (IS developers, analysts and business contacts)
