JAVA Developer - Full Time (Direct Hire)
The Java/Web Developer will participate in software development efforts for the critical product application following current J2EE standards and develop software components using primarily technologies such as Java, web services.
Requirements
- Proficient in OO Design and Programming
- Experienced J2EE programmer
- Experience with BEA WebLogic Application Server is a plus
- Experience in design and development of standard Java/J2EE Web applications
- Experience with Struts and Tiles frameworks
- Experience in developing presentation layers using JSPs, HTML, JavaScript etc.
- Knowledge and experience in applying industry standard Design Patterns for web application development
- Experience in developing industry standard persistence mechanisms like: EJBs, JDBC, Hibernate, etc.
- Experience in using unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Cactus etc. would be a plus.
- Good understanding of the various stages of an application lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, listening, analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Oracle databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Spring knowledge and experience is a plus
- Agile methodology experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have 3 - 4 years software development experience with web-based solutions
- 2 + years J2EE experience
- 3 - 4 years of overall software development experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS
